In 2019, I decided it was FINALLY time to self-publish my first ever book.
I didn’t know a single thing about the world of self-publishing or marketing, but I thought, Why not just try?
And you know what? I absolutely failed. I barely sold any books, and I had no idea what I was doing.
A few years later, I was actually doing well and making a full time living after slogging through information to learn little snippets here and there.
That’s what influenced me to start Alyne Digital (Pronounced like “align”) in 2022. I knew that there was an easier way, that authors shouldn’t have to struggle for years to figure out how to publish books that would sell. Within a year of launching the business, I created TikTok for Authors, a course that sold THOUSANDS of memberships in just under three months.
Not only that, but it made these authors MONEY! Like, REAL money. Like, “FUCK YOU, BOSS” money. Now, it is my mission to teach authors to not only publish books, but sell them (with as little effort as possible).
Who is Kate Hall?
I started publishing paranormal romance in 2020 under the name Alexis Pierce and grew my publishing into a six figure business. In 2022 I opened Alyne Digital (Pronounced “align”), consulting privately with authors to help them market their books. In September 2023 I launched the course “TikTok for Authors” which has since helped over 1,000 authors to increase their royalties.
I’m also an avid horse-girl who owns four horses (how often do I ride? Wait, do other people get to ride their horses??) and too many dogs to mention. I live on a small farm in the midwest with my stay-at-home husband and our two-year-old son who subsists on a diet of 90% chicken nuggets and 10% rage.
